Dr. Ahmed Zaki is a Specialist Orthopaedic Surgeon at Medcare Royal Specialty Hospital with over 17 years of clinical experience, including more than 12 years practicing in the UAE. He has extensive expertise in trauma and sports-related injuries, specializing in fracture management of the upper and lower limbs using internal and external fixation techniques. He is also skilled in arthroscopic procedures for sports injuries, including meniscal tears, ACL and PCL injuries, cartilage damage, labral tears, and rotator cuff injuries.
His primary clinical interests focus on knee conditions and sports injuries, along with the management of acute and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. He also has significant experience in degenerative joint and spine diseases.
Dr. Zaki earned his M.B. , B.Ch. from Ain Shams University, Cairo, followed by a Master’s degree M.Sc. in Orthopedic and Trauma Surgery, with research focused on advanced treatment modalities for knee osteoarthritis. He completed extensive rotational training in Ain Shams University Hospitals in arthroplasty, sports medicine, spine surgery, pediatric orthopedics, orthopedic oncology, hand surgery, and trauma. He further enhanced his skills by completing basic and advanced trauma courses at the AO Foundation, Switzerland.
He is an active member of the American Academy of Orthopedic Surgeons (AAOS), AO Trauma (Switzerland), Egyptian Orthopedic Association, and Emirates Orthopedic Society.
